Description

This exhibition consists of 7 handwoven tapestries which trace the terrain I experience
on my daily walks. The sounds, sights, smells and textures are woven together to create a body of
work which is rooted in heritage, transferred through hand and loom. These textile panels draw
from the visual language of Rathcroghen, Connachts Royal site near where I live in County
Roscommon. These panels carry memory, movement, and quiet strength. Bold rhythmic movement,
grounded in tones of Rust, Copper, Green, and Brown come together as Contemporary wall art.
